The Scottish Queer International Film Festival (SQIFF) have produced the Deaf and Disabled Accessibility Guide, intended for use by film exhibitors of any size which want to embed Deaf and Disabled access into their programming and across their work, including online screenings and events
The guide begins at the conception stage of programming events with programme research and festival submissions. The processes of programming, managing, and advertising events, working with and within venues and event spaces, and marketing are then covered.
