Applications open for VISION Business Development Programme

Applications are now open for VISION (formerly Amplify), a business development programme for venues delivered by Mustard Studio and supported by Film Hub Scotland.

In this new programme, Mustard Studio will work with Scotland’s independent cinema sector to offer strategic business consultancy to create a robust plan for the next 2-5 years.

Following the pandemic, the exhibition sector has been experiencing significant challenges as audiences’ behaviour and attendance have changed. Combined with other sector business challenges, now is a time when cinemas can take the opportunity to review their position and look at how they evolve to meet new priorities.

What is VISION?

Mustard Studio will guide venues through developing their strategic vision, purpose and impact, including a mission statement and work on organisational values, including the tenets of the Fair Work First framework. The Vision programme compromises topics such as sustainability, leadership and governance and applying practical principles of branding, digital marketing, audience development and customer journey.  Alongside this programme, there will be Lunch and Learn sessions with guest speakers on themes that arise from the sessions.

On completion, venues will have a 2-5 year practical and actionable strategic business vision created on shared discussion, data, insight and resource.

Timeline

Each venue will work with Film Hub Scotland and Mustard Studio between September – December, with delivery of a final business plan by January 2024.
