Dardishi: Emerging Programmers

Supported by our Film Exhibition Fund, Dardishi will be welcoming three new exciting film programmers to curate a month each of innovative and acclaimed films.

From established filmmakers to new talent, Dardishi are not only excited to be introducing these films to their community and beyond, but we also delighted to introduce these innovative new programmers.

The film programmes will run over September, October, and November, and to make these films more accessible, they are available using a sliding scale ticket system.

September’s programme has been curated by artist, music maker and programmer of Algerian and Welsh origin, Hannan Jones and you can read more about the screenings series here.

Established in 2016, Dardishi is an ambitious not-for-profit community arts project that showcases the cultural production of Arab and North African women and gender minorities in Glasgow, Scotland. Every year they deliver a Festival, publish the latest issue of their zine, run year-round events, and host a Designer in Residence.
