Section 3: BFI FAN Priorities

The BFI FAN Priorities can be found in the Fabric Fund Guidelines. Tell us how your activity has addressed and impacted one or more of these key focus areas: 1) Engaging with Children and Young People, 2) Accessing a wider choice of film, 3) Tackling social, economic and geographic barriers, and 4) Engaging with screen heritage. Please complete at least one of the following four questions.

Did your project take any steps to welcome children, young audiences and/or family audiences?
Did your project give your audience the chance to see films they may not otherwise have had access to - i.e. classic films, international cinema, British independent cinema, documentaries, screen heritage, new works by emerging talents or immersive and interactive content.
Did your project take any steps to overcome social and/or economic barriers for your audience?
Did your project engage with archival film and heritage collections?

Section 4: Reflections

We want to know what things you felt went really well, and why you think this was the case.
If anything was less successful than you anticipated, what was it, and what would you do differently next time?
Please include information about what you did to reach your target audience(s); whether you reached them successfully; any obstacles you faced in reaching new/existing audiences.
If you have not listed all of your supported venues and film exhibitors, please do so here.
These might include areas such as: wellbeing, social connection, community engagement, economic benefits, education and learning.
Please tell us about what will happen to your supported organisations now that the project has concluded. Will any of them be able to resume their activity if no further funding is provided?

Section 5

Did you achieve the sustainability goals that you’d hoped at the beginning of your project? Were there challenges that you hadn't anticipated?
Tell us briefly about the project from an operational and programme perspective. Please consider areas such as staffing, finances, programme, communications and event delivery. For example: did everything go to plan and on budget? Were you able to achieve your broader project goals?
Please tell us about any wider feedback you received on this project (positive or negative) - for example from audiences, stakeholders or staff. Where applicable, please tell us briefly of any response or changes you intend to make because of this feedback or what you might do differently in future.
