Film Hub Scotland’s Young Audiences Forum

Join us at Film Hub Scotland’s Young Audiences Forum at Dundee Contemporary Arts on Friday, 28 Oct.

This will be an action-packed day, full of opportunities for learning about film education and youth screenings and connecting with your peers.

The forum will feature:

• A screening of Shorts for Middle Ones, a collection of international animated shorts for audiences aged 8+.
• A panel on working with teachers and building sustainable relationships with schools• An interactive animation workshop, led by Alasdair Satchel (Screen Argyll) and Jonathan Charles (d fie foe), will explore how animation can be used to engage young audiences. Participants will learn activities for young people which they can replicate at their own events.
• A session on working with neurodiverse audiences. After learning about best practice models, the group will have the chance to discuss their own programming activities.
• Details of an ambitious new film education strategy for Scotland, shared by Screen Scotland’s Head of Education, Fi Milligan Rennie.
