Do you show films in Scotland, or would you like to start screenings in your community or venue?

We support organisations in Scotland that screen films to public audiences. It’s free to join.

Become a member and you will get access to funding opportunities, events, advice, training and support. Plus, you’ll become part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), a network of film exhibitors across the UK. It has over 1,500 members, including cinemas, festivals, multi-arts venues, community cinemas and film archives.

Join a network of 300+ film exhibitors

We welcome membership applications from any organisation that screens films to public audiences or its membership. To join, you must be a formally constituted organisation (e.g. as a community interest company or limited liability company registered at Companies House; a charity or trust registered with the Charity Commission; a Local Authority or statutory body; or a voluntary group with a written constitution and bank account).

We have over 300 members across Scotland – including cinema venues, mixed arts centres, community cinemas and film societies and film festivals.
