FHS x Screen Scotland: Young Cinema Audience Forum 2026

  • Date

    17th November 2026 | 09:30

On Tuesday 17th November, we’re teaming up with Screen Scotland to organise a Forum on the topic of young cinema audiences.

There will be a number of sessions focused on attracting and retaining different age groups from 3 to 15+ years. Screen Scotland will also discuss a new initiative being developed to support cinemas to work with young audiences.

Lunch will be provided, and there will be opportunities to talk with other exhibitors, as well as the Screen Scotland and Film Hub teams.

The day will be particularly useful for cinema operators and independent film exhibitors who are interested in increasing their family and youth audiences.

This event is free and open to all. Don’t forget that FHS members can apply for our Bursary Awards to help cover travel costs to attend this event.
