Melanie Iredale
Melanie Iredale (she/her) is a film curator, audience development strategist and cine-activist.
Melanie Iredale is Director of Reclaim The Frame: a charity (formerly known as Birds’ Eye View) with a mission to champion marginalised gender-led films, to build community for them, and to advocate for equity in all film spaces. Before joining the team in 2021, Melanie spent seven years as Deputy Director at Sheffield DocFest. She is a regular onstage interview host, speaker, and project mentor, with Executive Producer credits including ‘Rebel Dykes.’ Melanie is a full BAFTA member and has sat on a number of international festival juries including the Teddy Awards at Berlinale.

Drawing on extensive experience working nationally with distributors and cinemas, we help organisations increase attendance, strengthen word of mouth, build repeat audiences and maximise both cultural and commercial impact
