Charlie Little
Charlie Little (they/she) is an in-house Access Consultant at Matchbox Cine, specialising in advising on access and inclusion for Deaf and Disabled audiences. Charlie brings their lived experience of deafblindness to their expertise, as a disabled cinema-goer with access needs.
They are a Champion for BFI FAN through Film Hub Scotland, supporting the FAN membership on access and inclusion for Deaf and Disabled audiences through resource creation and projects. They are a member of the BFI’s Disability Screen Advisory Group, known as We Crip Film.
Outside of their role at Matchbox Cine, Charlie is a freelance film programmer with a focus on disability cinema and has programmed for festivals such as BFI’s We Crip Film and SQIFF. They are a co-programmer for Deaf Action’s BSL Film Club and for Leith Kino, a pop-up community cinema based in Leith, Edinburgh.
