Access additional support to enhance new or existing one-off projects and screenings.
As a Film Hub Scotland member, you can apply for up to £1,000 to support impactful, one-off events that enhance your programme, or special initiatives that help you widen your audience. These might include (but are not limited to):
- Commissioning descriptive subtitles for a screening
- Marketing campaign to support a new season
- Guest speaker to deliver a Q&A/introduction
Please note: support is allocated on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Eligible projects must be completed by March 2026.
Priority Areas
Your application should outline how your project will address one or more of the priority areas outlined in BFI’s Screen Culture 2033 strategy.
- Engaging with children and young people
- Accessing a wider choice of film
- Tackling social, economic and geographic barriers
- Engaging with heritage collections that reflect the diversity of the UK
