New Producers
New Producers’ is a paid training opportunity for early-career film curators.
The programme aims to reduce the barriers to entry to Scotland’s film exhibition sector. Since 2020, New Producers’ has offered a pathway into film exhibition for early-career curators and programmers.

Each year, four New Producers’ design, curate and deliver film screenings in partnership with a host organisation.
Previous host organisations have included: Alchemy Film & Arts, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Scottish Queer International Film Festival, Take One Action!, Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival and Scottish Documentary Institute.
