Young Audiences Forum at Dundee Contemporary Arts

We look forward to welcoming you to our Young Audiences Forum at Dundee Contemporary Arts during the Discovery Film Festival.

Join us for a day of action-packed workshops, talks and networking, followed by networking drinks.

Registration is from 11am with the option of arriving early to watch Discovery Film Festival’s Greatest Hits selection of Shorts for Middle Ones at 10am.

The Forum kicks off with a session on Family Programming led by Film London’s Moira McVean, followed by Sobriety Film’s Maddie Kitchen talking to us about Young People, Mental Health and Addiction. In the afternoon, we’ve got a panel on Engaging Young People in an Age of Climate Crisis and there’ll also be a hands-on banner-making workshop led by writer and theatremaker, Kate Ireland.

There will be space throughout the day for open discussion and sharing and we’ll finish off with networking and refreshments from 5:30pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We have a number of travel bursaries available specifically for this event (separate from members’ annual bursary allowances). If you would like to enquire about these or require any assistance to complete the form, please contact duncan@filmhubscotland.com.
