Glasgow Exhibitors’ Day: Screenings, networking, training

To celebrate the launch of BFI FAN’s Cinema Unbound: The Creative Worlds of Powell and Pressburger, join us for a day of screenings, networking and marketing training.

First, join us for a free screening of Isle of Mull-set classic I Know Where I’m Going (1945) at Glasgow Film Theatre.

Then, meet and catch up with fellow exhibitors at our networking lunch at Centre for Contemporary Arts.

We’ll be joined by Invisible Women, who champion filmmakers with marginalised identities, for a short presentation on the support that they can offer your programmes.

In our afternoon session, Reba Martin (Berwick Film Festival/Fringe of Colour) will cover the marketing basics you can use to maximise audiences for your screenings, including: understanding social platforms; choosing the most manageable work; how to work with local media; and the essential resources that you can use for your marketing.

To finish the day, we’re offering concession tickets to watch Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer on 70mm at Glasgow Film Theatre!

You may attend as many of the sessions as you like.
