BFI Major Programmes 2020: Japan
The BFI's blockbuster season for 2020 will celebrate the cinema of Japan.
From May to September 2020 UK audiences will be able to discover this country's rich cinema history, new voices and technical innovation at BFI Southbank and cinemas across the UK, online on BFI Player and with a wide range of UK partners.
BFI's Japan 2020 season runs from May to September 2020.
How to get involved
There are lots of ways to get involved with the season, from booking touring titles via the ICO, re-releases from BFI, commissioned special events that will tour across the network and funding support for your own projects. If you have any questions, Annabel Grundy

- Project support for venue-based and regional project proposals up to £12,000. Project Pitches are open NOW and will close on 6 March 2020
- Screening Engagement (up to £2,000) to help with smaller scale projects, or enhancements to venue-based programmes. (This fund will open for applications in Spring 2020)
