From Scotland With Love
Paul Fegan’s first feature documentary follows the iconic Scottish musician, former Arab Strap frontman, Aidan Moffat, as he tours Scotland with his re-imagined old folk songs. However, before the tour begins, Moffat meets Sheila Stewart, the last in line of travelling folk royalty. Their meeting transforms Moffat’s viewpoint and alters the course of the film. The film is heart-warming, hilarious and moving. A true celebration of two of Scotland’s most unique voices.
Paul Fegan will be joining the audience for a live Zoom Q&A after the screening. Fegan is an award- winning director but has also spent most of his career as a music promoter, creating music events such as the Triptych festival. It was at this festival that Fegan met Aidan Moffat. Moffat approached him about an idea he had to tour Scotland with rewritten Scottish songs and this is how Where You’re Meant To Be was born.
